Hi Everyone!
I recently saw The Day After Tomorrow a new movie by Roland Emmerich, the creator of Independence Day. Did anyone else see it? How did you guys like it?
Here's what I thought of it (SPOILERS BELOW):
I have always liked end-of-the-world types of movies. It is entertaining. I especially liked this movie's effects because it shows disastrous scenes that are so close to home (Hollywood, CA).
I enjoyed the story between father and son, Jack and Sam Hall (played by Dennis Quaid and Jake Gyllenhaal, respectively). I also liked the fact that, in the end, they weren't the only ones who survived, and that other people took Sam's advice (to stay indoors so they wouldn't die from the frost).
I thought, however, that the wolves looked a bit unrealistic. Another quirk in this movie was Dennis Quaid's facial expressions. He constantly looked like he was having a heart attack (the wide-eyed look). In the end, his smile was so pointy it looked like the Grinch's.
On a 10-point scale, I would give this movie an 8.

This is kind of like a remake of something like deep impact. I like the two movies , but they bring in too much non realistic point into the movie like how someone can stay out in the ocean you know what i mean.... from being hungry and sleepy... you can't actually stay there floating much , but yeah i'd give the same rating. 8 out of 10.
